Check your Challenge Response pending queue

Dear ISP Clients;

We've had an increasing number of domains sign up for our spam-combating Challenge Response program and are pleased to report that every one of them have seen a dramatic decrease in the amount of spam delivered to their users' Inboxes.

However, with the Challenge Response program comes the risk of a "false positive."  A message from a legitimate sender may be viewed as spam by the e-mail server and issued a Challenge Response message.

The good news is that the sender has three days to click the link and verify that they sent a valid message.  But if you're waiting for a message from someone and it hasn't hit your Inbox, you may want to check your pending Challenge Response queue.

Login to webmail and click the Settings button in the top toolbar, then choose Challenge Response.  If you see an address that is clearly spam and not a legitimate sender, you can instantly reject their pending challenge response and add them to your blacklist.  If you see a valid sender in your queue who hasn't yet clicked the challenge response link, you can save them the trouble and mark their pending response as accepted.  The associated message will then be delivered to your Inbox.

Remember, your entire domain must opt-in to use the Challenge Response program.  If you're still struggling with spam, give us a call.  We'll discuss the pros and cons of the program to determine what's best for you.

Regards,

Keep Word from mistakenly changing what you type

Word can be very handy for correcting mistakes--but sometimes what Word perceives as an error is actually an intentional keystroke. Mary Ann Richardson explains how to keep Word from automatically correcting keystrokes that aren't missteps in this article.
